Great news today! Finally the pressed copies of our new release ’Awakening the Dream’ have been delivered to us! A very big thanks to Alain for helping us with the delivery! The metalfest in Izegem went great, thanks a lot to all the bands involved and a special thanks to JOC De Schuur for organising this event! Gwyllion will be performing at Boscorock the 28th of April, 2007. This is an open-air festival with a great stage and a great PA system, so show up because it’s going to be a lot of fun! More info to follow soon, so keep an eye on the Tourdates section.

Great news today, Gwyllion’s second demo CD, entitled ’Awakening the Dream’, will be released in February! It took us a while, not in the least due to the line-up changes last summer, but we are very proud of the final result. It will be professionally pressed and printed and it will be sold as a ’Deluxe Demo Package’. Three full tracks taken from this demo can be heard in the Music section on this site, and more information on the CD can be found in the Discography section.

We have also added an order form to the Merchandise section, so now it is easy to order any of the Gwyllion Merchandise. You will even get a discount (free shipping) if you buy more than one item in the same order, so check it out! The new demo can already be pre-ordered, but keep in mind we will only be able to send out the orders late February!

On the 9th of March, Gwyllion will perform at the JOC in Izegem, together with Raspoetin, Ogress and Requiem. Be there, because it’s going to be a party to remember! More info to follow soon, and we’re still looking for gigs, so feel free to contact us to arrange something!

We played a great gig last Saturday together with Thurisaz (who proved yet again that they are the new masters of Belgian Death/Black/Doom Metal) and Novembers Doom. Pictures have been added to the Media > Pictures page. Thanks to Metalzone & Thurisaz for having us on this one, we had a blast!

Great news today, on both the Gwyllion MySpace page and the all-new Music section on this site, three full new promo songs are available for streaming! These are the first recordings with the new line-up so check it out! These songs will be released soon together with 7 other tracks, so keep your eyes on this website!

Added the full information and the poster / flyer of the November’s Doom gig in Wervik to the tourdates page. We are currently in the process of mixing the tracks of our last studio effort and it sounds very promising! More news on this later!

Finally, the pictures of the Rhymesfest are online. We got a lot of great feedback on this show, thanks to everyone who sent us an email or posted a message in the guestbook! Next show will be the 25th of November (Wervik), so be there and we’ll do our best to be even better!

Yesterday was great, easily the best Gwyllion gig ever! Thanks to everyone who was there to support us, especially the guys that came all the way from the Netherlands to see Gwyllion - thanks a lot! I also saw some guys from Thurisaz, Artrach and several other Belgian bands, again thanks for the support! Pictures will be coming in the next few days, so stay tuned...

Another gig has been confirmed! This one will be in Wervik the 25th of November, together with November’s Doom (an American doom band) and Thurisaz (if you don’t know them, you should!). Thanks to DeathMetal.be and LSP Company to book us for this one!

Gwyllion will play at the Frontline once again for the Emergenza festival. The gig is planned Saturday the 16th of December 2006 (Gwyllion will play at 7:30 PM). Presale tickets for this festival can be acquired with the band members.

Last Sunday, Gwyllion has done a test gig in OC De Vonke (Heule) to try out the new line-up and the new PA. Both proved to be excellent - the PA system sounds amazing, the lighting was very cool (more than 10 000 watts on lights alone, how metal is that?) and the new band members rocked so hard that our socks fell off!

On the 7th of October, Gwyllion will perform on the Rhymesfest at JH Tap in Kuurne, together with Oceans of Sadness, Requiem and Ogress. This is the first gig presenting the new line-up, and entrance is only 2 euros, so be there!

As you all know by now, Gwyllion’s line-up has been changed to go back to a more power-driven course. The site lay-out has changed to close the first chapter in Gwyllion’s history and to start the next one with a clean sheet.
We are proud to announce Annelore has returned to join the ranks of Gwyllion, together with Steve, who will be our second guitar player from now on. Check the ’Member’ pages for more information.
We are planning to start gigging in the beginning of October, more news will be posted on this site soon so keep checking!

In a totally un-Nightwish related event, after a very difficult conversation and an even more difficult decision, Gwyllion has decided to part musical ways with lead singer Valerie. After two good years for Gwyllion, the band has decided to change directions back into a more power-driven course.
A second guitar player and a new lead vocalist will be added to the line-up.
All Gwyllion members wish to express their deepest appreciation and gratitude to Valerie, who has given us more than we can ever repay. We wish her the best of luck in all of her future projects.
At the moment all actions are suspended until Gwyllion is whole again. The website will be re-activated when the line-up is complete.
